Maintaining its iconic symmetry, each piece gains an otherworldly depth from the saggar firing process—soft smoke-blushed tones, unexpected flashes of color, and ethereal textures. The result is a collection that honors tradition while embracing the alchemy of fire and chance.

The Korean moon jar is one of ceramics’ most quietly radical forms - symmetrical, generous, unhurried. These pieces honor that tradition while carrying the unpredictable marks of saggar firing. Each one is distinct. None of them is decorative in the ordinary sense.
