About my work

How is your pottery made?
Each piece is handmade on the pottery wheel, and sometimes using hand-building methods. I use different methods for firing including electric kiln, raku, saggar firing, and more. 

Are your ceramics food safe?
My decorative pieces are not meant to be food-safe and therefore are not. Anything I make that is considered for food and is functional is usually food-safe and I’ll note that in the product’s description. 

Are your ceramics dishwasher- and microwave-safe?
Many of my pieces are dishwasher-safe, but handwashing is recommended for longevity. Microwave use depends on the specific glaze and clay body—check the product details for guidance.

What’s the difference between shopping on hillitwahlberg.com allmuddy.com or your ALL MUDDY Etsy shop?
On this website, I focus on showcasing and selling my decorative art, while ALL MUDDY is my brand for functional ware that is more affordable.

Do you take custom orders?
I accept custom orders on a limited basis. If you’re interested, please reach out via the contact form with details about what you’re looking for.

Where can I buy your work?
You can purchase pieces directly from my website, on my Etsy shop, or at select in-person shows. Follow me on Instagram (@allmuddyclay) for updates on new collections and events.

Can I see your work in person?
Yes! My work is available in various exhibitions and events throughout the year. Check my events section on this website’s home page for upcoming dates.

Can I buy directly from you?
Yes. If you're in the Denver area and you want to drop by my studio, contact me through the contact option on this website and we can coordinate a time and day. 

Shipping & Returns

Do you ship internationally?
Currently, I primarily ship within the U.S. If you’re outside the U.S. and interested in purchasing, please contact me to discuss options.

How long does shipping take?
Orders typically ship within 2-5 business days unless stated differently. Shipping times may vary according to the method chosen at checkout. 

What if my piece arrives damaged?
I take great care in packaging, but if your item arrives broken, please email me with photos within 7 days, and I’ll arrange a replacement or refund.

Do you accept returns?
Due to the handmade nature of my work, all sales are final. However, if there’s an issue with your order, please reach out, and I’ll do my best to make it right.
