About Hillit Wahlberg

Hillit Wahlberg is originally from Tel Aviv, Israel, and now resides in Denver, Colorado. Hillit’s journey with clay began at a young age, culminating in her exploration of the throwing wheel in 2019. While pursuing a career in media and later in tech, her passion for ceramics remained a cherished hobby until the summer of 2021, when she decided to transition into clay full-time.
Exhibitions of Hillit's work can be found in collections such as The Curtis Center for the Arts, The Arvada Center Galleries, the Art Student League of Denver, SeeSaw Art Gallery, BRDG Project Gallery, and more.
Artist Statement
My work explores the intersection of tradition and innovation, blending ancient techniques and earthy aesthetics with contemporary geometric forms. Through this fusion, I seek to create harmony between past and present. At the core of my practice is a deep engagement with dualities—where contrasting elements and concepts coexist within each piece, evoking complexity and balance.
